Fuge Light Spillage

I'm using a full spectrum PC bulb in a fixture for my HOB filter fuge. I'm getting some spillage into the display area of the tank, not a whole bunch but enough to light portions of the bottom. It's spilling out the "spillway" portion of the HOB. Not sure if I want to try cutting a hole in the back and gluing in a clear pane. Is this going to be a long term concern for my tank?

Not likely. A little light spill seems to bug us(humans) more so than it does the tanks inhabitants..
