So I might have posted this in the wrong section, so sorry in advanced if I did!

 

I might be heading out to Green Marine in Berkeley, Ca tomorrow. If I dont make it tomorrow I will go the first week of January.

 

Most importantly I want to make sure I bring home some healthy beautiful frags. So If I am not mistaken I should look for signs of pests, bleaching, coloration and polyp extension. Does that sound about right?

 

I do know that they have thousands of SPS frags for mostly $10 so I will probably get between 2-4 frags.

If anyone LOCAL would like me to pick something up let me know by tomorrow morning!

Look for a frag that has encrusted the frag plug. Its always a good idea to dip them to remove pest.

I think they use those clear acrylic rod frag plug thingys there...would SPS encrust over those?

 

 

 

Also they dont put names on any of their coral and last time I asked they just said they dont do that due to the fact that everyone marks up their prices because of the names. Should I be cautious with that or just go ahead and just pick out my favs?

Sounds like a goof LFS where good deals can be had. Names are BS anyways, just pick the stuff YOU like!

I dont really plan on selling stuff so i dont care about the trade names
