brandolando4
I have know idea if this would work, idont see why it wouldnt tho. I want to get a specimen container (the thing that people at the LFS hang on the side of the fish tank when they are scooping out a fish.) and drill holes in it, then hang it on the inside of my tank, and fill it with chaeto. Will this work? Also is there a better macroalgea then chaeto? SORRY GUYS MY COMPUTER SAYS I DIDNT POST THE OTHER ONE, SO I TRIED POSTING IT AGAIN ONLY TO FIND OUT I DID POST IT SORRY. ajmckay
Yeah that should work... It might be a good idea to mount a small powerhead on one side to force water through the tub though. This would help maximize efficiency. Link to comment
doppelganger
It'll work but ppl like having it in something dedicated like a fuge to do a reverse or 24hr photoperiod to help with pH swings. Also, it might be easier for chaeto to break loose and float around in ur tank. I've heard some ppl say it'll anchor quickly and be annoying to pull out if it gets out of hand. But I dunno I've got no experience with this. Link to comment
