Cannot understand?

I bought some coral (Zoas) from a couple of Reef Stores black friday. The ones I bought from 1 of them are all doing horrible if not dead. The ones I bought from the other are doing great and growing. Is this normal. I can understand maybe 1 or 2 dying but everyone (3) are dying are dead. I guess that tells me that I should stay away from the one. I spent more for the ones that are dying also....figures.
