RussianBoy Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 ok so i think this is a type of anemone called Pseudocorynactis sp.but I am not sure, I can see it with the lights on but really comes out at night, has many tentacles with little white balls on the end... I think I can see an orange-ish body inside the crack it is hiding in. If it is the one I think it is, then I may just leave it, they stay fairly small and take forever to grow from what I have read, but I just wanted some other options and thoughts about what it could be.
carbon-mantis Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I can't see a thing in that picture but it definitely sounds like a pseudocorynactis.
RussianBoy Posted November 27, 2010 Author Posted November 27, 2010 so do I kill it right off, or is it ok to leave, I don't like killing things
wimby Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Thanks for asking about it. I found the same thing in my tank a couple of weeks ago. Tagging along to see what everyones says to do with it.
RussianBoy Posted November 27, 2010 Author Posted November 27, 2010 Thanks all, hopefully it's nothing that can hurt my tank, i have a very passive tank....
