bogman2121
What is the best way to get power from the wall, to the powersupply, to the buckpucks, to the lights and make it look clean? The more detailed the better as I cannot find all of this info and the majority of it seems to be spread out over hundreds of pages. What gauge wire should I use and are there any wiring diagrams that I could use along the way? What I've got so far: 14AWG Power Cord Cable w/ 3 conductor PC power connector socket (C13/5-15P) -http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10228&cs_id=1022801&p_id=5291&seq=1&format=4#feedback 24V, 6.5A POTRANS POWER SUPPLY -http://www.mpja.com/prodinfo.asp?number=16854+PS 3021-D-E-1000mA BuckPuck -http://www.ledsupply.com/03021-d-e-1000.php] Cree® XR-E LED -http://ledsupply.com/creexre.php Link to comment
Pilg0re
I don't know how hot your power supply gets but you could try to find a really pig project box (or make your own) and stuff everything in there. But be mindful of heat and if done right can look pretty good. Link to comment

I've heard of people using the 2 pin connectors used in RC toys... thoughts on that or is there something better? Gauge of wire used to string the lights and the buckpucks to the lights? Either run through the wall, or use cable ties and hide everything in your stand if you have one. use 18-20 gauge wire theres some good wiring diagrams at reefledlights' website. Also, the ultimate led guide on here. Link to comment
