LED lights wiring instructions

What is the best way to get power from the wall, to the powersupply, to the buckpucks, to the lights and make it look clean? The more detailed the better as I cannot find all of this info and the majority of it seems to be spread out over hundreds of pages.

 

What gauge wire should I use and are there any wiring diagrams that I could use along the way?

 

What I've got so far:

 

14AWG Power Cord Cable w/ 3 conductor PC power connector socket (C13/5-15P)

I don't know how hot your power supply gets but you could try to find a really pig project box (or make your own) and stuff everything in there. But be mindful of heat and if done right can look pretty good.

What about running wires to everything and making all the connections? I've heard of people using the 2 pin connectors used in RC toys... thoughts on that or is there something better?

Theres gonna be alot of extra wiring. Either run through the wall, or use cable ties and hide everything in your stand if you have one.

 

use 18-20 gauge wire

Heat shrink and cable sleeving is also your friend. It will allow you to group wires together to clean it up really nice.
