I'm going to miss SPS but the reduced husbandry/maintenance with an LPS only tank will be worth it.

The spongodes is much larger than that now since that picture was taken in December of 2008. But the last year or so has been nothing but problems and so the SPS colors and growth rates are very poor. The tank will be coming down this Fall (October probably) and at that point I'll have to sell off the SPS, which are about half the tank at the moment.

Thats cool the crab makes it even cooler though.

 

yeah, although the crab has since jumped to my ORA Roscoe's. I actually prefer it here as you can really see the white crab against the green and yellow acro, and the coral is relatively closer for maximum observation
