saltboy
how could my cheatos fall apart. It is getting picked up by my return pump and the skimmer pump. Link to comment
ReefEscape
It's either getting too much light, or not the right kind or not enough flow, or there aren't enough nutrients in the water to support Cheato. It took me 3 balls and 8 months of experimenting to find the best spot in my tank for it. I found that it likes a good flow of water, medium or indirect light to grow best. Link to comment
Pilg0re
cheatos fall apart. You could try closing the bag with a chio clip so they don't go stale. But seriously it could either be the lighting (too much or too little), lack of nutrients, or too much flow. Link to comment

Bill Nye
i have gha starting to grow with red slime so the nutrient shouldn't be the problem. If you have alot of GHA and slime then it could be starving your chaeto of nutrients. Link to comment
