Little green dots?

I have these little green dots appearing on the sides of my aquarium glass only. They are pretty hard and they wont come off with a magnetic scraper so i guess i will have to use a razor. My question is will these dots eventually turn into purple coralline algae? Idk, i thought i heard that somewhere.

no their just PITA algae.

 

u need to get a better mag scraper or best thing to do is the razor blade.
