animalmaster6
That blenny is awesome!!! I didn't know some Orange Lined Cardinals were transluscent Link to comment
seabass
Maybe a bit, but more silver than translucent. The top down photos with blue walls and blue lights aren't ideal for photos. Hopefully I'll get some good ones in the glass display tank. Link to comment
animalmaster6
I figured that. I love those cardinals. I'm getting a trio Link to comment
spanko
Funny about the blenny in the powerhead. My tailspot is a risk taker too. Link to comment

seabass
Sorry folks, I'm running behind schedule. Here's a quick update and a few pics... Benny resting on one of the rocks (dry rock becoming live) that will go into this tank. I got the rest of the sand being prepared to be transferred. (a mixture of dry and mature sand that I collected from a tank transfer) It's coming along, but it's hard to set anything up when I haven't built my stand yet. bitts
WUT? Copper plumbing for a reef tank? More to come... It's coming along, but it's hard to set anything up when I haven't built my stand yet. (platforms for sump and display) ok we need plans for the stand asap if its what i think you doing thats awesome. one thing I've noticed though on my metal stand is that it amplifies every little hum & vibration. be extra diligent about dampening things. I've even noticed the sound of the glass vibrating but also there seems to be a harmonic from the stand that affects this. Link to comment
seabass
Thanks everyone! ok we need plans for the stand asap if its what i think you doing thats awesome.I really want to setup this tank; so I'm going to spend some time on the stand over the next few days and get it knocked out. I hope it works out (it should), but I haven't tested this concept yet. Buying a nice stand would have been easier (and cheaper), but the project seemed to scream DIY. Sadly, you're going to have to wait until it's done to see any more. Link to comment
