What can go next to a toadstool?

What do you suggest for spot #1 next to a toadstool? Ideally something not tall so I can see behind it.

Mid-flow, mid-light area under pc lights.

Immediately below this spot is going to be an acan (Spot #2)

Thanks!

Palys or zoas would probably be the best, because in a year, that toadstool will totally shade that spot. Mine grew from 2" tall and 3" wide to 6" tall and 8" across in a year.

Would a micromussa work in shade?

I'm just not getting alot of growth with the zoa frags I have, so that's a maybe...

A mushroom will probably be fine too right?

+1 That's what I would do too.

Micromussa would work as well.

Here's a cool idea since the toadstool will definitely be an umbrella in the future...sun coral?

A sun coral would be cool! I was thinking of putting something nonphotosynthetic further left in the overhang. I'll have to read up and see what the feeding schedule is like.
