Any help What kind is it? They aren't that good and you should probably get a refractometer. With that said I have used a coralife withou problems but I had a red sea and the thing sucked big time. gimme Posted June 30, 2010 Share Posted June 30, 2010 i had issues with them as well. my problem was allways having air bubbles on the pointer every time. just too inaccurate. I ended up with a refractometer and love it Link to comment

Edit: There a little expensive, it cost $44.99 plus shipping, I looked up my local pet stores and they didn't have them so i have to pay shipping too. Link to comment

Very accurate readings and very easy to use. Instead of having to stick the whole stupid hydrometer in the water you just need like 3 drops. Link to comment
