BonnieC
I read there are two tpes of flatworms and one is fine and one is bad. But I couldnt figure out which is which. Anyway, I found one of these in my tank today: http://www.pirx.com/gallery/albums/worms/fworm02.jpg Is it bad or good? Link to comment
Gigaah
I know the red/rust colored ones are bad. I'm uncertain as to the status of the other type Link to comment
v850aq
neither, the white ones show up from time to time but dont do much at all. The red ones also show up and can reproduce to plague proportions, but dont actively eat coral. There are records of them "smothering" corals by covering them and competing for light Link to comment

lakshwadeep
It's a harmless "acoel flatworm" (there are many more than two types): http://www.chucksaddiction.com/hitchworms.html Link to comment
