chrisinmd
So im setting up a new tank it's a 12"x12" cube. Well i went out tuesday i went to my lfs and bought a peice of live rock and brought it home and found a snail on it witch i thought nice free snail. Well tonight i was looking at the tank looking for other hitchhikers and saw what looked like small furry dot on the rock so i plucked it out and put it in a small glass dish to look at it closer. To my suprise it was a baby urchin im not sure if its a long spine or a pencil too small for me too tell. So i started looking around for others and i can find 7 so far. Now i can't wait for them to get bigger so i know what i have. the only problem i can see is as they grow thire going to out grow the tank so im going to have to get rid of the sooner or later. demonclownfish
there are micro urchins out there and it is very possible that these are them. they may grow no larger than a penny or they may grow big. but my bet is on them being micro's. Link to comment
