looking to add moonlight

anybody found a way to mount led moonlights on a tek light fixture?

Go to autozone/advance auto and buy the LED strips that run off a 12v car source. They normally come in anywhere fro 4"-24" strips and have double sided tape. Then hit up radio shack and buy a wall outlet that provides variable voltage (switch) and wire them together. Then you can determine what voltage the LEDs work best under for your tank.

looks good i just wish there was a more cleaner way to mount it but its hard with tthe texk light beind 2.5" tall smh

just finished mounting the ice cap retro fit led strip to my 48" TEK...pics will be up tomorrow

I'm getting my 4ft Tek this week, need to figure out a moonlight as well. Curious as to how this worked out, if you're still around...
