Hi guys! I have a question for all of u, see if anyone knows. I own a Solana 34 Gallon Aquarium. I love it! I just recently purchased the new Echotech marine 10 pump. My question is what would be the maximum GPH i could have running in the tank before it's too much flow? I know most say if the corals seem to sway to hard its too much. But i'm speaking in number terms. for a 34 gallon tank what would be the most GPH in numbers I could have going? Thank you :)

It really depends. An SPS dominated tank might require it be set as high as possible. Sand blowing around is usually a sign of excessive flow.

cant really use numbers, a 1000 gph through an area the size of a return is a lot diffrent that of say, the tank. what is the flow pattern, how wide spred is it, so on. try to have the flow as evenly distrubuted as posable, and create a gyre if posable.
