Dizzle21
Ok so ive herd many ppl always say dont use a canister filter in a reef tank because it will raise the nitrates. enlighten me Link to comment
Fishfreak218
I feel like the eel is going to jump out of the tank! be careful Beautiful tank!!! Link to comment
Rehype
Thats another reefing myth. It would be no different than using a hang on the back filter. As long as you clean and replace the media every few weeks theres no way it would add nitrates to your tank. I feel like the eel is going to jump out of the tank! be careful Beautiful tank!!! Thank you. Im hoping he doesnt but theres always a chance so im keeping him well fed so he doesnt feel the need to look elsewhere. Yay! And maybe a few macro shots of the various critters while you are at it Link to comment

MEDGE
From the tanks that I have seen you create, I would not classify them as a "simple setup". Looks awesome though, cant wait to see where this one takes you. I will be following along, your tanks inspire me. Link to comment
Rehype
Wow thanks for the complement sledgerton. timdanger
glad to see you're back in the mix! how's the mp10 treating you (sandstorms, noise, etc.?)/what mode are you running/did you get the ES? Link to comment
Rehype
Thanks bud. I'm glad to be back. The mp10 is the first gen I bought about a month before the es was announced. But being that this is such a small setup I think the old driver is more than capable. So far the mp10 has been great I have it set on wave mode and it's been working great.very natural looking and No sandstorms. There is a slight noise but it's pretty much the same sound all of the vortechs make when on pulse mode. Link to comment
