Please take a look at this picture. Can't seem to figure out the source of these bubbles. Maybe someone can tell me. Tank has not cycled. There is a little algae in the tank and seems to be the location of where the bubbles are coming from, but I want to be sure of it.

Tank perams are ok so far.. no spike or fall. But no ammonia, nitrites, nitrates... everything is happy except for the bubbles. I have also added chemipure and activated charcoal. Skimmer is running (AquaticLife Internal Mini Protein Skimmer 115). It's a small tank 14 gallon. Lighting is odyssea 250W 14K MH W/HO actinics on for 8-9 hours a day. Temp swing is just over 2 degrees tops.

any ideas... or is it die off?

Algae is photosynthetic. The bubbles are a product of the photosynthesis. You might want to consider a limited lighting period for the cycling period to cut back on algae growth.
