Hi all! I finally have the confidence to post here now that I have a tank that's up and cycling :P

Overall Look~

This is what my 12g Fluval Edge looks like currently, only on its 3rd day cycling! I have a thread here if you're interested in detailed specs and progress pics: http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/378061-%E2%99%A5%E2%99%A5-avianettes-gobypistol-fluval-edge-%E2%99%A5%E2%99%A5/#entry5423313

Basically, I want to focus my tank on a yasha goby/pistol combo, with a possible firefish or some other small fish that would work well, and some softies in the future (with proper tech of course!). So in love with my tank and this thread helped me push through the people against me getting tank ♥ So glad I didn't listen!

Here is my fluval edge.

Lights :

Beamswork 300 led fixture

Custom 4 high power royal blue leds on a flat aluminum bar replacing the stock lights

Filtration :

Stock hob with media removed, filled with bio balls

Koralia nano 240 powerhead

7 pounds of live rock

10 pounds of live sand

Living :

2 Blue leg hermits

1 occelaris clown

One GSP frag

One Frogspawn frag

One green gogniopora

Doing 2 gallon water change 2 times a week, will lower to 1gallon a week later.

So far so good.

2 gallon once a week would do just fine... your bio load is very small as long as you don't over feed your clown

it's not easy to feed him brine shrimp in small dose lol, that thing just explode in the tank
