whats goin on with sapphire

i ordered a replacement impeller a month and a half ago and they sent me an email that said the reseaved my order and would tell me when they were gonna ship it and its been a month and a week sense they sent me that and i have been running skimmerless sense... if any one happens to have an extra impeller i would buy it cause i really doubt its ever coming

i bought it used for 80 bucks and when i was trying to replace the impeller the first time it broke so i ordered a new one fo like 12

Hopefully you just broke the disk. If that's the case you just need to put your DYI hat on and see about getting an acrylic replacement and mesh modding it. Here's a good website illustrating it. I replaced the stock mesh on mine today and the output is great. Just hoping it doesn't stall or stop on me.

I've always supported SapphireAquatics. I have all 3 versions of their skimmer, including the very first one they made. However, I notice that they still have the impeller and pumps available for sale on their web-site. So, I can't really say what, if anything is going on.

 

A few weeks ago, Chris with Nano-tuners, had posted that there might be a possibility they would acquire any stock Sapphire had. You might want to send a pm to Chris @ Nano-Tuners to see if there has been any updates. Wish you good luck.
