zook
Hey there. That would be a Chestnut Turbo Snail J/K. It's the very original Flamethrower Chalice; a decent grower and one of my favorite for sure. Link to comment

C Jerome
Nice photos but it looks even better in person Link to comment
zook
Jerome! It has been awhile. Hope you're doing well. ReefSki, those PowerBrites are really bright. They actually hurt your eyes if you stare at them directly. Even with the brightness of the Radium 150w 20k, the LEDs definitely shows through. I highly recommend them. Link to comment
ReefSki
How many would you recommend to to use along a 14k pheonix 150watt over a 14 gall biocube, i wanna make my chalices glow like yours i bought 2... amazing purchase! great suggestion haha Link to comment

kactusficus
Hello Zook, What a awesome bright tank, wow!! I love your pictures from above of the Zoa garden and the Rics collection, it's quite Psychedelic! Even if your LPS/Zoa/Rics is impressive, I must say that I liked even more the december aquascaping, serene and more "graphic". I always wanted to have a very shallow tank like the ZeroEdge ones, but was scared of the possible fish jumps. Do you suffer from such jumps (or maybe you prevent them by covering the tank with a net)? I see a lot of population change between your photos from december and the list from your interview, I was wondering if it was because you had to make some room for the tang and gave them away, or is it because you have another tank in your display where you put the other fish that aren't show any more in your photos. I hope it's not because of jumps, I've lost some gobies, wrasse and mandarin because of jumping, it's something I really fear now, and that's why I'm still hesitating for a very shallow tank as yours. Anyway, congratulations for the magical color and shape arrangement sabine Link to comment

zook
Thank you for the wonderful comments. kactusficus: I have to agree with you on liking the tank better before 2010. I changed to a different salt mix at the beginning of the year and the results were quite unfavorable. I have since changed back to the original salt mix. The tank was also not at its best in the profile photos; I had to drain the entire tank to catch a very nuisance fish 3-4 hours before the photos were taken. I had a few fish jumped on me so I avoid anything that has a reputation of jumping. I haven't decided on my final fish list yet so I'm trying out a few things, but I'm aiming for a school of one particular species. reefer123: You're referring to the AU Gold Torches. I love them, but have had almost no success with them. Other reefers mentioned that within the year that they have these Torches, there weren't much noticeable growth. Link to comment
zook
Some 'leftover" photos that didn't make it into the profile. LED MH Link to comment

zook
Thanks! I'm dying for that Chalice to pop few eyes near the rim. No idea why it popped an eye right by the other eye. I'm getting a Pink Lemonade from you, PINOY. Can't wait to see it. Link to comment

Supersizeme
It's been a long while since I have been on here due to the flood recovery still going on here in Nashville, This has made my day !, Congrats !!! My tank has really suffered due to the lack of me being able to take care of it, this has inspired me to make an effort no matter how tired I am. Congrats again on a truly beautiful tank !
