TomBomb
I am confused about these microbubbles that I got overnight. I am running a marineland Penguin 350 with the bio wheels. No protein skimmer but all of a sudden I have a ton of small bubbles. Should I be worried? Will they go away overtime? Link to comment
RayWhisperer
I'm not sure where that could have come from. It won't hurt anything, it's just unsightly. Try checking to see if the intake tube is seated correctly on the impeller. If it is, try adjusting the flow (there is usually a small dial somewhere on the intake assembly on HOB filters.) lakshwadeep
Remove the biowheels. You don't need them if you have live rock, and they are an incomplete form of filtration (no nitrate reduction). Microbubbles are not harmful, but they can be annoying. Do you know where the bubbles are coming from? Link to comment
TomBomb
My Bio wheels have been out and the micro bubbles are now gone since I switched out my filters. Thanks for the answers everyone. Link to comment
