3 Gal JBJ Pico

Well I have had this tank for about 5 months. I just couldn't get the tank where I wanted it and was becoming quite a hassle trying to dose anything in it. I had been wanting to start a small frag tank for awhile and finally decided to take the plunge and make this one my frag tank.

 

I drilled the tank with two 1/2" holes(1 for return and 1 for drain). I don't like how return plumbing looks over the top so that's why i did it this way. I should have drilled for 3/4" for a little more flow, but wanted to play it safe since the tank is so small. Just a simple system since I'm not too worried about the noise it makes.

 

Back is painted black. Learned a lot being my first experience drilling and painting a tank.

 

This system is now hooked to my sump on my 29 gal so no more top offs!
