alfa1six4
Hi all, I have a BC 14 with a pistol shrimp and Randall's Goby paired up. I've had them for about a month now and last Sunday the shrimp molted. I was lucky enough to witness this, very cool. After he molted I noticed he lost a claw, which I understand will eventually grow back. What I'm concerned about is that I haven't seen him since. Not even any evidence of him moving sand around. Is this normal after a molt or loss of a claw? Thanks Gary Link to comment
RayWhisperer
Normal. It won't come out again until it's shell has fully hardened. Welcome to N-R.com Link to comment

kthehun89
Pistol shrimp are pretty tough so they arent really eaten. He'll show back up when he's ready Link to comment
alfa1six4
Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for him. The Goby is still darting in and out of the burrows. Link to comment
