Thanks, I'm planning on changing up the lighting by removing the LEDs and running 2 VHO actinics that I have laying around. The LEDs are decent but I want the POP I had with the Icecap 20k bulb, the pheonix 14k and actinics should make the coral respond nicely. I may go back to LEDs in the future but right now I'm not impressed. I'll get a FTS up in a few days.

Moved a few pieces, have a few that will be added soon. I've been trying to keep my hands out as much as possible.

I do appreciate it, it's been a journey for sure. Hopefully the next year or so should give the tank a fuller look and allow the color to get back to where it was.

I have removed rock and chopped up some of the larger colonies to get a little more open space, I'll get a new pic up soon, thanks.

Thanks, growth definately is my main goal but I'm seriously considering adding VHO as the color isn't what I would like for it to be. Some pieces have great color but some only have color on the tips. I may frag the tips to see if that helps.

maybe try dosing amino acids for color, the theory being that the colors are made of proteins, so additional building blocks could only help color up those corals to your liking. Also, you can try spot lighting with red LEDs to really make that spectrum pop. On a side note, those corals are looking healthy either way.

I appreciate it but right now I've been dealing with the blue clove polyps hostile takeover on my tank. They grow nice and thick without hurting anything. One day a patch of the BCP die and nuke the nearest SPS. I'm tempted to try the fluke tabs I keep hearinng about.

I would suggest a natural predator of the blue cloves but then any polyps would be at risk. However I could imagine saving polyps separately and introducing a polyp predator for softies, and going full sps for a while. Then afterwards introduce a natural predator to the polyp predator to the tank. Then of course this is just a theory reserved for the most extreme cases. LOL

I've actually got some fluke tabs headed my way, they are said to irradicate the BCP. We shall see, took some pics a few days ago, still have a few more frags to add and possibly some more LPS to remove. I'm leaning towards a Kessil A350 in the next month or so to replace the 250w halide.
