Travis Posted August 15, 2009 Share Posted August 15, 2009 I just set up my Tunze Nano DOC 9200 on my 20H mixed reef and am getting this funky bile like skimmate. The tank has been running for over a year now without a skimmer, could this be why? I have had skimmers on past tanks, but never did they make green skimmate, just brown. What do you all think? FiRsT-aNd-LaSt Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 Yeah I've never seen skimmate that green before, my guess is something that you might be dosing but if not, I would worry to much about it, it's nice that it's pulling some kind of gunk, what does it smell like, my skimmate smells like rotten eggs lol.
