Hi everyone.

I added a Yellowtail Damsel to my 3g pico tank a few weeks back and he's doing really well. Very happy guy. I was hoping to add a few sexy shrimp to my tank but my LFS mentioned that the damsel may eat them up if he gets hungry. should i be worried about this - i know i've seen other's have both in their tank.

Curious if i should take the risk? thanks everyone!

Should be fine. Yellowtails are extremely peaceful and well-behaved for a damsel and mine got a long with my sexies just fine. :)

Great question I wanted to know myself good to know the damsel wont pick on the sexies I think Im going with a damsel and (2) sexy shrimp combo for my 5.5AGA

Any cleaning benefits from sexies as far as algae or pest cleaning???

Should be fine. Yellowtails typically mind their own business and they have tiny mouths anyway. Mine shys away from large amphipods.
