evilc66 Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 Not as a direct replacement. You won't find a direct drop in LED powerful enough to overcome the 250W MH. Going with high power LEDs is an option, but mounting them becomes a little tricky, and considerably more expensive. Link to comment
Rinehart77 Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 I had one for a while. It's a decent little fixture. The stock ballast (at least the old ones from '07-08) are absolute junk. Mine burned out in about 3 months. I replaced it with an IC 250 W ballast and never had a problem after that. It's basically a Coralife clone. The also have a 250w "basic" unit now for $99 I think, with no fans, or pcs. Just double checked they do have a fan in that unit. Link to comment
