begin2117 Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 This was my 4th coral added around 6 months ago and it grows like a weed and i think now would be a good idea to know what it is LOL. I'll post one of my first pictures of it so you can see the base and individual polyps better, now its just a huge block of small polyps... Anthelia? Now this coral I believe is favia? It looks very fleshy but when i touch it the fleshy outside quickly disappears (into little holes i dont see?) and the skeleton has very sharp jagged edges sharp enough to cut. also it almost constantly has feeder tentacles out. It grows fairly quickly. sorry for crappy pics, its highest in my tank so the light makes the crappy camera weird. (ps. It isnt growing out like that, i bought it with a few polyps on a shard of rock it the shape you see above and wedged it in the rock. since then it has grown over and encircled the rock.)
