Just got the tank going again. My girlfriend and I have had the tank for about a year but never really took the time to do it right....... until now! We both finally have the time and money to really get this thing going right and we are super excited about it. The tank has been running for about a month now. We have about 20-25lbs of live rock and live sand. Thank god for the LR and LS our cycle happened within 2 weeks. We have a cleaning crew, pair of clowns and a kole tang. we plan adding a six line wrasse and clown tang. as far as corals we have a hammer coral, polyps, zoas?, frogspawn, and just added today, what were really excited about, a green leather frag! and also an amazing gorghonia. as far as lighting and filter all is stock we took out the carbon and pvc and i upgraded the return to a 365 gph and added a nano koralia power head. everything is going great except the temp seems to run a little high for now we are floating ice bags in back and plan on either building a chiller or forking out the cash one or the other. other than that we are fairly new to the hobby and open to any advice.
