xcello
Hello everyone, I finished transferring my 36G into a 75G a couple days ago and now I’m wondering what to do with the old 2yr old Live Sand? I was thinking maybe a few scoops in the top tank to help seed the new CLEAN Live sand and the rest in the 30G sump. Every time i attempt to scoop some, a thick green cloud rises. I know this can't be healthy to add to the now running 75G that now has all my coral, LR and fish. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment

The logical solution would be to get large gauge siphon tubing and suck the sand up with it. As long as you don't have a lot of rubble in your sand, this should work. Link to comment
