I have the frg rack 3 inches from the water surface and it still sucks. Im used to using t5 bulbs. Are there any 18 " t5 fixtures out there that will work for my application? A 4 bulb 18 inch T5 fixture would be perfect! Link to comment
evilc66 Posted February 12, 2009 Share Posted February 12, 2009 There are only two: 18" 2x18W Nova Extreme, and the 20" 6x18W Nova Extreme Pro. These would be fantastic fixtures if there were more bulbs available. A 24" fixture will get you much more selection in better bulbs if you can deal with the overhang. Link to comment

A 4 bulb 18 inch T5 fixture would be perfect! I think Ill go with 2 18" fixtures for $120. I have an old teklight reflector to make them Single R on each bulb! The 20" fixture runs $300.00 Link to comment
