Lalani
To think, Cliffy and I have sibling nems. Checked on the tank this morning, and the piece of rubble the two new nems were attached two is empty........... Looked around the tank with a blue LED flashlight and immediately caught the florescence of one of them at the bottom, resting on the rubble... the other is MIA. Boy do those things move fast. coralcor
what kind of lighting do these need and flow and all that other good stuff? Link to comment
Lalani
According to Weets and Daniel, they really don't have any needs at all. They'll do just fine in any type of lighting and will split regularly. If you feed them, they will split more quickly. Not sure about flow, but I have them in a low-medium flow spot right now and they seem happy. Just keep in mind that they are VERY sticky and will possibly eat fish/snails that get near them. Found one of the new nems, but the other is still MIA... Link to comment

dshnarw
Found one of the new nems, but the other is still MIA... its just hiding...they like to do that. flow doesn't matter, as long as it exists. they'll move where they find it suitable. Link to comment

Lalani
I can admit when 'help' is needed. How long does it usually take for them to heal, a month you said? Link to comment
dshnarw
I can admit when 'help' is needed. How long does it usually take for them to heal, a month you said? either way, i'm recording it maybe less on the small ones. depends on how healthy they were before splitting, how happy they are afterwards, how much light they're getting, etc. Link to comment
