IllusionaryDreams
Anyone willing to help establish a nano with a scoop or two of live sand from an established tank? No LFS in my area carry it that I can find. Thinking about adding small layer of argonite and then seeding with some scoops for a few established tanks. Link to comment
quiksilver5768
Does your LFS have saltwater tanks? If they do just ask for a scoop from them and explain what your doing. They should be happy to give you a scoop and if they make you pay...they can't charge you more than 3 bucks since its just a scoop. I recommend getting some white reef sand and mixxing that with one or two scoops from an established tank (your fish store) If you cant get any live sand to seed you white sand than its ok. Get some live rock and soon your white reef sand will be alive. Link to comment

skipm
If your LFS will let you aquire a scoop or so be sure to get it from a invert. or coral tank. Copper is not very nice to reef tanks, I found out the hard way with some base rock once. Link to comment
