Weetabix7
Hmm, very interesting. I'm curious to see how this turns out now. You'll have be careful to keep the area behind the rock wall siphoned free of detritus. Looks cool though. Link to comment
Deleted User 6
comming along well, nice job Thanks! You'll have be careful to keep the area behind the rock wall siphoned free of detritus. Yep - there's plenty of room to get some hard tubing down there to siphon - I'm also debating making a cave out of that area to cut out some of it. We'll see. Link to comment

Weetabix7
I wonder if you could have a cryptic fuge in that lil area back there. If nothing else, mebbe you could keep your heater there. Link to comment

Posting pics of the cave soon. Link to comment
Deleted User 6
Here's some updated shots of the cave. Can't wait to get this stuff rocked and foamed! I left part of the cave "ceiling" open to let light illuminate a corner just a bit. Maybe some sun coral under there! Link to comment

Weetabix7
A cryptic fuge is not like a regular fuge, it uses stuff like sponges to filter the water. Doesn't need light. Link to comment

Deleted User 6
I GIVE UP!!! I'm drilling this thing and making a 10g sump under my stand. Just bought my glass-holes.com nano overflow kit. Hope I don't explode it. Also, I almost have my rock wall fully dremeled. I'll post pics when I start to glue the sand on. Link to comment

I'm going to start gluing the sand to the wall tonight. Still waiting on my overflow kit and then I'll drill. Also got to get my 10g for the fuge and finish up stuff on the stand. All this while holding a real job, lol. Link to comment

Deleted User 6
Started gluing the sand - this is going to take a while: Also added the shelf for the fuge to the stand: And...my glass hole kit: Inching along. Hopefully my stand levelers will be here soon and I can level out the main tank to figure out what water level I need for the overflow. Link to comment
