Purple_urchin
I have the 3 gallon picotope with all the factory equipment. I bought a green dot daisy polyp frag from the lfs about 2 weeks ago. It was in great shape when I bought it. All of the polyps are finally opening but only about a quarter of the polyps have the flourescent green center . The others look a little bleached , for lack of a better word. I have them fairly close to the filter so they should have adequate flow, I think. My water parameters are always good. I had an aptasia that was giving them trouble for a bit , but he is gone. I was just wondering if it could be from insufficient lighting??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment
BytheSea
Exactly how much & what type lighting does the tank have? How long has the tank been setup? Link to comment
Purple_urchin
Exactly how much & what type lighting does the tank have? How long has the tank been setup? The light is factory. 9 watt 50/50 I think. The tank has only been set up for a month. It is strange though , some of the polyps have the flourescent green center, particularly the new ones that are opening. Link to comment
