Nang Yuan
Good or bad move? I only have about 15 Gallons and my LR is 1/2 of my tank volume! I'm using the pump for extra water movement and will let the tank settle for a week or two. Anyway - like I say...... Good or bad move? Link to comment

So many people have proven a skimmer is not necessary, especially in nano tanks (there is a 40G Breeder on this site at 3 years old with no skimmer ... it's one of the most beautiful tanks I have ever seen.) I assume you don't have a heavy bioload in your tank ... fish wise that is, it's a 15G tank. Just keep up with your water changes. -David Link to comment
aaron1987
Neutral move. Do you stay on top of water changes? Do you run a fuge? You'll note that non-skimmed tanks are generally not SPS-heavy in terms of stock. I ran my 29g skimmerless for a year before tearing it down and upgrading to a 47g which will be skimmed.
