mynicereef Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 HI i have been researching stevie t"s upgrades and im thinking of switching to the tunze 9002 skimmer .My question is does it make a big difference in noise because my tank is in my bedroom and the stock skimmer"s noise is starting to drive me crazy lol. Im ready to run it without a skimmer . I did the upgrade, and it is MUCH quieter. The two stock pumps make more noise than the Tunze (actually, the extra fan is the noisiest thing on the tank now, but that's because I bumped up the speed). The original skimmer was giving me a headache too. Link to comment
