Matthew
My 7 gallon bowfront is coming along slowly. Problem is, my overflow is gurgling like crazy. I tried doing a mini version of the Durso standpipe but it still sounds like a toilet flushing. Would I be better to junk the current setup and just do a Bakpak? Does that unit maintain a consistent water level in the tank? That's the main reason I wanted a sump--no fluctuating water levels in the tank. I really like the idea of a sump, even if it is only a gallon or two. Link to comment
Matthew
Addendum: Ugh! Got up this morning to find water everywhere. Looks like the tank has a leak, so I'm going to have to dump the current bowfront. Is there a tank that's well suited to an in-tank sump that's at least 16" across the front? Something that's square so I could partition the back few inches for a sump? (Edited by Matthew at 9:43 am on Dec. 12, 2001) Link to comment
