Moving a sand shifting goby into a BB tank?

My BB 40 breeder is almost done cycling, just wondering if my yellow watchman goby will have any negative effects from being moved from a tank that has a sand bed into a BB tank?

Will you have some space for it to burrow? I've never heard of someone keeping a shrimp goby (watchmen are not sand sifters) without a sand bed, though.
