Ive had my tank now for nearly a year and its doin fine and all the water parrameters are good. i was wondering if now that im becoming a little more experienced do i need to install a sump tank. and how does the overflow work. My tank is a 25 gallon with 20 pounds liverock and a xenia frag and some zoas and i want to put an empty 10 gallon to use. Link to comment
BibleSue Posted December 16, 2008 Share Posted December 16, 2008 You don't need a sump. If they aren't done right they can cause problems. If your tank is working I wouldn't mess with it. If you want to research how to build a sump, you can search on youtube & find demos. Be sure to research what is necessary for a healthy one. Link to comment
