Singulari
OK I'm planning on making a 2g nano with a sump/reefgum. My idea is to drill a hole in the side of the tank put in a bulkhead fitting and plumbing a U into the sump. Putting a peice of pvc going up from a few inches above the ground up to the bulkhead over and then down to the sump. With a powerhead in the sump for a return. Would this work? And any ideas for what to put in the sump. I was planning using this just to keep the heater and powerhead out of the tank. Link to comment
weeblwobbl
Most small tanks are tempered glass. Tempered glass cannot be drilled. It will just fracture into a "million" little pieces. If you are positive that your tank is not tempered glass, your idea would work fine. (Edited by weeblwobbl at 10:45 am on Jan. 17, 2002) Link to comment
