coralline doesn't grow THAT fast... you should have a few weeks at least

Since the problem is serious you might try to kill all the algae by raising your magnesium. I successfully did this in my frag tank (all algae is almost dead after 1 week) by raising my Mg to 1800ppm. After it dies you can scrape it off, or scrape it off before hand. Either way your gonna have to keep it at 1800 for 2-4 weeks.

 If you don't take a razor blade, it's still going to grow.

I think this thread belongs in the beginners' discussion.

No honestly, if it really is cyano, scrap out as much as you can, suck it outta the water, and hit that tank with some chemi-clean. Cured some cyano overnight when I did that.

Just throw it away.

:haha:

That there is funny....

What were you doing before to let so much coralline grow on the front glass?

Read back a few pages. It's not coralline according to wfiki.

You're both wrong. It's glass.

It is a glass Biocube 8, right?
