jeremai Posted December 9, 2008 Author Share Posted December 9, 2008 I had Photomatix Basic installed, but it kept shutting down when I started the tone mapping. I dug around a bit on their website and found out there was some embedded something or other that was missing (although it worked fine on my old comp with XP). I installed the Pro version with the missing piece embedded in the program, and it works fine now. Eventually I'll upgrade it, but my results using the trial are pretty friggin good as they are, lol. I resized the photos in GIMP and saved them as .jpg's (they come out of Photomatix as .tif's), but there were no color corrections done outside of Photomatix. Link to comment
