Great tank. I guess with you tank having so much algae to choose from you can have fish that aren't normally safe for reef fish ie.puffers,triggers. Again, great tank.It looks fantastic.

Well this tank is not a reef tank, it's a macro algae tank.

Blue line trigger

Ink spot trigger

Narrow lined puffer

3x gold & black chromis

2x green banded gobies

2x ORA tiger gobies

your Narrow lined puffer is cool i got one but i got it as a stripped dog face puffer.they get big fast mine is very well behaved he does not bother anything and he is in a reef tank with snails and small molly's and all he does is sit in his cave all day till he hungry then he comes out and eats krill out of my hand. ryan1056.jpg

Awesome shot!

I think we got the same puffer just labeled differently.

Mine has settled down quite a bit since I put it in the tank, might be because it was hungry that it went after my snails but it doesn't do that anymore. Funny you should mention that your's sits there all day cause mine is doing the same but hiding amongst the macro.

2 triggers is the tank not to small for them two?

They total 3-4" right now and I have plans for them once they get larger.

Even though this tank isn't up any longer, this thread deserves a bump just for the sheer coolness factor.

It's a good thread to check out for those planning a Macroalgae Dominated Tank, which is why I'm here. :)

Incredible tank !!

I am thinking about doing something like this in a 75 gallon.

What type of substrate did you use? Looks like some kind of custom mix.

It was indo pacific substrate, it came like that, IIRC I got it from DrsFosterSmith.com
