pismo_reefer Posted October 28, 2008 Share Posted October 28, 2008 i went to the LFS to get some supplies for my switch to the 20g.... i picked up this 2gallon tank for $3 ...sweet deal. so im starting a pico after we gets paid. specs: 1.86g-AGA dimensions are: 12x6x6 - $3 corner overflow- 0 ac30 (modded into 'fuge) - 0 2x20 watt pc's (50/50) - 0 1x13watt pc (actinic)- 8 75watt visitherm heater - 0 Azoo palm thermometer - 0 livesand / liverock - 0 livestock: 4 sexy shrimp (soon to be 7) 1 nassarius snail 1 astrea snail misc. zoo's misc. mushiez 2 teal blue ricordea original tank shot... ...and "the drinker of the coke!" Wow, those dimensions look nice and the black silicone is always cool. yeah, i had my eye on this tank for the last week or so. i couldnt get over the sweet dimensions. it was 8.99 but the guylet me have it for 2.99 (i buy alot of stuff there) Link to comment

What did you bond it to the glass with? yea, im about to pass "go" and the lfs is gonna collect $200...lol. the overflow is not toothed or slotted. it just overflows the pane of acrylic...idont forsee this being too big of a prob as i wont have fish, just snails and paly/zoa's.... i used super-glue gel...its worked well for me in the past. Good buy! what lights are you thinking of using? im goin super-ghetto with this one....i have a 9watt pc lamp that im gonna tear apart, and i have 2x20watt coralife "screw-in" lamps that im gonna retro into a canopy. probly some diy moonlights too. ...or maybe led if i get the time/ money....lol, daydreamin' again.
