How should i mount MH light?

I have my 70 watt MH setup identical to Liquid's here: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...ighlight=regent

I would like to screw it to a very simple fram and place it atop my 10g like a very basic canopy but will it be too heavy since the ballast will have to go up there too? I think it is fine but want some other opinions.

It's not too heavy if your frame is relatively sturdy. Remember, the water in that tank already weighs 80 pounds, plus rock, sand, etc. Adding 10 or 15 pounds will not hurt anything if your design is sound.
