After two years i thing I have one of the most overstocked rsm. Lot of corals, mostly recordias lps and sps.

I' running the stocked lights (plus one led bar) -stocked skimmer (looking for the surface skimmer box) and I have added some diy devices.

Sunset-sunrise for the PC’S, temp controller for the heater-fans, and diy osmolator.

I have to frag the corals every 4-5 months as they are getting bigger and bigger.

As you can see at the last picture i even have fraged the brain coral with great success.

As for the valiferum ...I lost it during summer due to 24h power failure during Summer Holidays.

Now I have one tiny hippo and the clown fish.

WOW! This is a tank for all us RSM owners to use as a goal! Your photography is also excellent.

Please give us information on how you manage the tank -- additives, water changes, feedings, EVERYTHING!!

I'd also appreciate information on the anemone that's in the left front. It's beautiful.

Thanks

Next time you ll be in Athens come to take frags :) , by the way Rodos is a very nice island.

The coral at front left is not an anemone.

It is an Heliofungia actiniformis.

http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/april2003/invert.htm

It is a very interesting colar and you can find it very easily in our pet-shops (i have heard that is rare in states)

It changes shape and location day by day.

The only bad thing is the the asexual reproduction is not an option for this coral , although it belongs to fungia family. That's why mr Calfo doesn't advise aquarists to buy this coral.

As for the additives i use

Salt

Tropic Marine Pro

KH

Reef Builder of Seachem

Every second day (2 spoons)

CA

Turbo Calcium of Kent

Every second day (1,5 spoon)

IODINE - MAGNESIUM

Reef Iodine of Seachem

Once a week for both.

The secret is not to forget even one day to add KH or Ca. If i do so , the level will drop immediately.

The grow is huge but the cost of the additives is getting bigger and bigger.

So i'm thinking to start using a Calcium Reactor.

I have already buy the Geo reactor and Aqua Medic Controller-Valve.

Excellent ! Just goes to show you what you can do with PC lighting , are MH's or T5's better.....YES . But you can still have very nice results with PC's if done right .
