AcroporaLokani
And thank you! I appreciate that about my sunpolyps! I try to take good care of them, my tank gets fed because of them lol. And your new tank will fill in very nicely, it really cool how you arranged the corals with that rockwork. No problem, its true. I usually see shriveled/half dead sunpolyps and yours seem so lush and healthy. Thanks about my tank, I am hoping to get a toad stool and a kenya tree to put on each side of my rock work and let them grow out. Your new corals look very nice (I'm a little jealous of those two larger soft corals ) And that is a great deal on hose duncans, I remember seeing duncan frags at live aquaria for $80. Kylebeano
Tank is looking good, the new palys are putting off a bunch of new babies. A couple of them are large enough to swallow mini mysis I throw at them. Im concentrating more on my new 7g tank now, trying to get some nice sps put in there. I found a really nice orange monti cap the other day, it was exactly what I was looking for in a cap, perfect growth pattern and easy to mount, so I bought it for the MH tank. It came with another smaller piece that I had clipped off, but didnt want in the new tank, so im seeing how it'll do in this tank. Ill get a picture update soon, just dont feel like going through the upload process now. Link to comment
Kylebeano
Picture update. Re-arranged just a little after the last water change. Sorry, forgot to clean the glass, and it was slightly after feeding. Zoas and Palys are doing really well Mushroom garden Xenia is almost finished splitting Macro of the duncan eating Monti Cap is doing alright, no signs of tissue recession or bleaching (top downs) Before with actinics and NR in the background FTS Link to comment

Kylebeano
WOW! Your corals still look amazing. Thank you! Im going to settle for mostly whats already in there now and focus more towards my 7gal though. Everything is going to get a lot of attention still, im just going to let it be though, Im happy where everything is at. Actinic picture update No picture altercations on these at all, the only editing program I could even use is paint lol. These were taken with the actinics off! Just the white lights and camera light settings: And a too bright FTS with the suns out Link to comment

Well christmas is coming up. Maybe that camera you want would be a good gift?! They're only happy every other night though, when I feed them Agreed. Must take a while to feed them though. They stand way out! Very nice tank. Thanks Rocket! It is quite a time consuming task. Probably takes me about an hour to get everything fed. I appreciate your compliments, Im glad that I dont need to hide them in shade, they really are a nice showpiece right in the open. Your DIY work is impressive, I cant wait to see how your tank comes out with that fuge. You'll have some damn good water! Link to comment

Kylebeano
Not much has changed. Ive added some cinnamon polyps, tubs blues, and a to be determined chalice. I went over to a local reefing couple's house to see what was left from their 225g breakdown, and they gave me a very nice deal on some coral, I have the others in the 7g. I will get some pictures of the new corals tomorrow, It'll be my first day off, that ill be able to pay attention to the tanks, in a while. Here are some older pics of what has been going on. Snails laid eggs I guess: And then they were devoured by something. I took some night shots, playing with shutter speed to get some light. and I like these in sequence because this photo lights up the BG with these little white snails, that make it look like the night sky And a FTS Link to comment

Kylebeano
Added some new palys Any ideas on what kind these people eaters are? LFS calls them tequila sunrise (only a few have opened, I fragged them and put a few in my 7g, they opened a bit) These havnt opened all the way yet either, but are a nice green And the generic huge green stripe paly Ill follow up with some pictures when they are completely happy Link to comment

Kylebeano
Im at the point where I want to upgrade now. I like the way things look, but I want a better light. If im going to spend the couple hundred dollars on a new light, I would rather put that couple hundred dollars towards a nicer tank with light, sump, skimmer, etc. Here is a picture update: Some of the new zoas. Purple ones were $10 from LFS, and the huge pink/red and yellow polyp colony was $25 from a very nice local reefer. FTS Link to comment
Rocket
You have a lot of frags not on the rocks! Lol looks like you are out of room. Nice photo update. Haha, yeah, Ive been meaning to do something about that. I did begin somewhat of move towards getting corals on the rocks. I placed the GSP, daisies, and a couple leathers on the back rocks. Ill try and find some places for the zoas in the next month or so. And thank you! I use a cannon sx110 point and shoot. Ill have to use the tripod and mess with the settings for the next picture update then. Link to comment
