Nano-Nut
I have a clove polyp that has not opened in 3 weeks and I have been seeing these babies on the little stems where the polyps were. Tonight after lights out I saw a bunch of them on it and took the rock out and removed the little fellows. There was 40 of them. I put the rock back in the tank and 2 minites later They were coming out of the old polyps. 32 this time. Put it back in and more are coming out. Seems to me they are raising in the clove polyp and have killed it. They are being removed as fast as possible. Link to comment

kennerd
ID of nudibranchs are tough, but it's much easier knowing their prey, which you unfortunately have discovered. Go to www.seaslugforum.net and do a search. Link to comment
Acoustic
I had the same problem. I bought a new clove coral rock from AW. I took it home. 5 days later only 1 polyp opened up. At night I looked and found about 30 of these guys chomping on the polyps!!!!!!!! I was so ####ed. I tried to remove them all but the coral still died. What a waste of $30 bucks. Link to comment
Nano-Nut
Acoustic, you got that right. I made me sick to think this thing destroyed my clove. They must have come in on the coral. I'm still killing them, but not as many. Found 3 today. Link to comment
